Completed work
A clear record of successfully completed actions and their outcomes.
AI BUSINESS OPERATIONS AGENT · CONCEPT & DISCOVERY
A proposed AI operations layer that understands incoming work, coordinates routine actions across existing tools and brings people in for approval, judgment and exceptions.
THE PROBLEM WE’RE EXPLORING
Enquiries arrive in one place, customer information lives in another, and follow-ups depend on someone moving the work along. The Operations Agent concept addresses that coordination gap.
INITIAL WORKFLOW HYPOTHESIS
Lead qualification, quotation preparation and follow-up are the initial workflow under exploration. The scope and integration set will be validated with businesses.
Capture a permitted enquiry and extract the customer, requirement and relevant dates.
Retrieve approved company and product information, then apply qualification rules.
Prepare a CRM record and a quotation or response draft for an authorized person.
Execute an approved action, check its result and record what changed.
Schedule permitted follow-ups and surface missing information, failures or policy conflicts.
THE OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE
The proposed control center makes work visible: completed actions, pending approvals, exceptions and upcoming follow-ups.
A clear record of successfully completed actions and their outcomes.
Proposed actions presented to the right person before execution.
Missing information, failed actions and a traceable record of what the agent changed.
HUMAN CONTROL BY DESIGN
The intended trust model pairs least-privilege access with explicit policies and review for consequential actions.
| Type of work | Example | Intended behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Routine | Classify an enquiry or create a task | Execute within explicit permissions |
| Needs review | Prepare a quotation or customer response | Prepare, then request human approval |
| Consequential | Payments, refunds or contractual commitments | Recommend; leave the decision to a person |
PRODUCT QUESTIONS
The product is in concept and discovery. The initial customer segment, workflow and integration set are hypotheses being explored, rather than a released feature list.
The concept is to coordinate work across existing business tools. Replacing CRM, ERP or accounting platforms is not the proposed MVP direction.
The discovery direction includes email, website enquiries, document inputs, CRM records, spreadsheets and tasks. Providers and the minimum integration set have not been finalized.
A future integration could connect a customer conversation to the operational work that follows. This is a roadmap direction, not a currently available capability.
